چکیده
Background: Wound healing is a complicated mechanism that includes inflammatory, proliferative and remodelling stages. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) small volume of blood fortified with platelets growth factors enhance the by stimulating angiogenesis formation granulation tissue. Methods: The present study was performed to evaluate effect autologous homologous platelet on full thickness dermatological reconstructive surgery in dogs. dogs were divided two groups A B, each four clinical cases. In PRP used respectively as skin graft augmentation. macroscopic parameters included colour, edema, exudation histopathological acute inflammation, fibroblast proliferation tissue formation. All these observations made days 3, 7 14 post-operatively. Result: On basis findings this study, it concluded better promoter terms self-limiting proliferation, granular early compared PRP.

Comparison between Conventional Mechanical Fixation and Use of Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in Wound Beds Prior to Resurfacing with Split Thickness Skin Graft
BACKGROUND Platelet rich plasma is known for its hemostatic, adhesive and healing properties in view of the multiple growth factors released from the platelets to the site of wound. The primary objective of this study was to use autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) in wound beds for anchorage of skin grafts instead of conventional methods like sutures, staplers or glue. METHODS In a single ...
متن کاملEfficacy of Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Activated By Thromboplastin-D on the Repair and Regeneration of Wounds in Dogs
Objective- To evaluate the effects of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on wound healing in dogs. Design- Experimental in-vivo study. Animals- 5 mix-breed male adult dogs. Procedures- Under general anesthesia, six 2 × 2-cm, full-thickness skin wounds were created on the back of dogs symmetrically. In each dog, three right side wounds were treated topically with 1.5 ml PRP jelly, whereas lef...
متن کاملEvaluation of subcutaneous infiltration of autologous platelet-rich plasma on skin-wound healing in dogs
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is known to be rich in growth factors and cytokines, which are crucial to the healing process. This study investigate the effect of subcutaneous (S/C) infiltration of autologous PRP at the wound boundaries on wound epithelization and contraction. Five adult male mongrel dogs were used. Bilateral acute full thickness skin wounds (3 cm diameter) were created on the thor...

Methods: PRP was collected from patients receiving NSAIDs after elective orthopaedic surgery, and platelet function was evaluated using light transmission aggregometry (LTA). Results were compared with those obtained from healthy volunteers without a history of NSAID intake during the previous 2 weeks. Two different systems for blood collection and PRP production (Arthrex ACP double-syringe sys...
متن کاملHyaluronic Acid Fat Graft Myringoplasty Versus Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma
BACKGROUND Hyaluronic acid fat graft myringoplasty (HAFGM) is an office-based technique for tympanic membrane perforation (TMP) treatment. It is simple, inexpensive, and performed under local anesthesia at the outpatient office department. We aimed to compare HAFGM technique to a recently described topical use of autologous platelet rich plasma myringoplasty (PRPM) in the repair of TMP. We also...
